Jay Z vs The Game! The Beef is on.

Now I gotta say when Jay Z hit the scene like a rocket i didn’t like him. He, to me, was not what the hype was cracked up to be. I am a true hip hop fan and I felt he was contributing to the commercialization of hip hop. He was why Common was disapointed with his childhood girlfriend. He, to me, was another rapper prostituting the game (no pun intended). However the cat then continued to make it do what it do. He rocked track after track with confidence and vigor. So, I became a believer. The lyrical content and his creativity influenced my thought process. I gotta say now that I’ve been more and more exposed to the self proclaimed “Hova”, I am definitely a supporter of his music.

Now for The Game. When Jayceon Terrell Taylor aka The Game dropped out of nowhere, I couldn’t understand the infatuation for him. I still don’t! I know I jumped ahead of myself, but walk with me. I’m not here to make the judgement for you, but it is my blog and I’m supposed to give my thoughts. I AM NOT A GAME FAN! Now I love the show “The Game” on The CW, but we aren’t talking about that right now. LOL! I have listened over and over to The Game’s music and still don’t feel he is talented enough to even be mentioned with the top emcees of the day, and definitely not all time. So I will end it there, cause my grandma told me “if I don’t have anything good to say then don’t say anything at all”. Well I sort of listened, but like Eazy L, I won’t tell nobody else. LMAO! I will let you be the judge on who is more talented and should be considered the victor in this “Game” initiated beef. Peep the content and holla back!
